Double page spread interview questions

These are the questions that I put forward to Hope Williams:-

1- Who influenced you to become a singer?
2- When did you first start writing your own songs?
3- Is your family quite musical?
4- What is the hardest part of being a singer/songwriter?
5- What targets and aims have you set yourself during your career?
6- How do you handle making mistakes while performing?

I'm only asking Hope 6 questions as there will be normal conversational chat about her family, childhood and inspirations.

Front cover design development

Photography ideas and plans for my music magazine

For my magazine, I'm going to have at least 6 images. This will include my front cover photo, for my contents page there will be 3-4 images highlighting other articles in the magazine.
For my double page spread there will be one central image taking over one of the two pages and there may possibly be a second  smaller image placed on the text page.

Location:- I have a few ideas for the location(s) for the photo-shoots of my magazine. I was thinking a mixture of inside and outside shoots.
I'm wanting the inside shoots to more or less be staged with lighting and props, however the outside photo-shoot I want to try and get un-staged images as its more natural.

Models:- I've chosen models that I think suite the style and the look of my magazine, I have both male and female models.

The images I want to take for my magazine with the theme I think mainly coloured pictures but not too over the top in colours, however I think one or two black and white images may just add a more of a different twist on my magazine.

Initial ideas

The initial ideas for my music magazine are:

 - I'm going to be creating a magazine about pop music, the latest chart toppers and the newest singles released, also with a section with un-signed artists.
 - I want to make this magazine more grown up and mature, appealing to the older teenagers, and collage students.
 - The fonts and colours are going to be simple but eye catching, I'm hoping for it to stand out attracting attention and make an interesting read.

Wordle

Music Magazine collage

These images contain both popular magazines and not so popular magazines.

Magazines such as Top of the Pops and SUGAR are more mainstream and targeted at the younger audience, whereas magazines like Classical have a niche audinece and aren't at all popular.

The music magazine industry is a crowded marketplace for companies trying to produce a popular and good looking magazine that would attract people to buy it,

Introductory to new task

For this task, I'm going to be producing a new music magazine. I will be producing the front cover, a contents page and then a double page spread.

The images that will be used have to be all original and I will need at least 4 images.
